🌱 Cultivation

Ideal Growing Conditions:

• Sunlight: Requires full sun—at least 6–8 hours daily for healthy growth and fruiting.

• Soil: Prefers well-drained sandy-loam soil rich in organic matter. Ideal pH: 6.0–6.8. Avoid waterlogged or heavy clay soils.

• Climate: Thrives in hot, humid conditions; best grown in temperatures between 25°C and 35°C. Sensitive to frost.

Sowing Instructions:

• Sowing Time: Start seeds indoors in warm trays or pots from January to March. For southern regions, sow outdoors after the last frost.

• Germination Temp: 25–32°C for best results.

• Germination Period: 10–20 days. Chilli seeds need warmth and moisture—cover trays lightly and keep them consistently moist but not wet.

Transplanting:

• Transplant when seedlings have 4–5 true leaves and are at least 10 cm tall.
